Right after his first season in Rio, he was invited to play on cruise ships. Upon returning to dry land, he already began to put into practice the production experience he had lived on the ship, applying it in various projects to which he was engaged in the city with great support. His biggest projects, however, were the Mansão Popular Brasileira and the Bar MPB helping Bruno Galvão (director and creator) in his production in the beginning.
He recorded his first official album, releasing it in the second half of 2016, under the baton of the great bassist and producer, Nema Antunes (Ivan Lins), with the participation of great musicians and artists such as Guitarist João Castilho (Djavan), Keyboards by Marco Brito (Ivan Lins), Percussion João Bani (Jorge Vercilo, Maria Betânia) Drummers, Mac William Caetano(Cassia Eller, Adriana Calcanhoto among others), Juka Lima, Sidão Pires, appearances by Gugu Peixoto (Playmobille), and several others who even brightened this work made with great affection and with the co-Production of Danny Menezes Himself. He decided to venture out again and left for Europe where he further increased his musical and professional knowledge.
Currently (2022) Danny lives in Lisbon, he has played in Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, Holland and this year he has plans to play in as many countries as possible, as always looking for challenges. He has dedicated himself to the production of his authorial work, which increasingly fills Streaming platforms and draws praise from those who listen to him for the first time or who already know him by watching his daily growth. In 2023 comes much more.
Danny Menezes is a native of Juazeiro do Norte in Ceará, Brazil, but was raised in Natal in Rio Grande do Norte, where he had contact with music for the first time. At the age of 15 he was already part of the band of school friends and at 17 he was already a professional guitarist playing in several local bands. Accompanied renowned Brazilian artists. Years later, already known on the RN music scene, he became a producer and produced records by several local and international artists. Already in a solo career as a singer he opened concerts by great Brazilian artists; some examples were: Ed motta, Adriana Calcanhoto, Jorge Vercílo, Geraldo Azevedo, Zé Ramalho, Roupas Nova among others. He constantly participated in local TV programs and radio, had his first demo "por do sol" played for years on University radio. He shared stage with Biquini Cavadão and Aviões do Forró in one of the biggest music festivals in Brazil, EXPOCRATO 2006, playing for an estimated audience of 42,000 people. Finally 2007 decided to fly higher and at the age of 27 he moved to the southeast, Rio de Janeiro, which became his new home. With his charisma and energy, in a short time he conquered Mém de Sá one of the best known streets in the most bohemian neighborhood in Brazil, "Lapa" and there he went for two years in a row. He played in the best houses in Lapa and Rio de Janeiro, he played for the artistic elite in many private events, he reigned for a long time in Lapa 40 degrees.
